Can I Do It Myself?

Creating a voiceover for an ad or video

You can do it yourselfDone with ready-made tools, no technical knowledge needed.

Voice your script with an AI voice. Many tools support Turkish voiceovers.

Estimated time: About 30 minutes per script (for a first-timer, an estimate)

Steps

  1. 1

Write it to be read aloud

Short sentences, numbers written out as words; note how the brand name is pronounced.

  2. 2

    Choose the voice

Pick a stock voice that suits your brand; if you'll use a voice clone, get the person's written consent.

  3. 3

    Listen and fix

Fix stress and pronunciation errors by changing the script.

  4. 4

    Check the license and label

Make sure you're on a plan with commercial rights; disclose in the ad that the voice is synthetic.

Risks and things to watch

ElevenLabs' free plan has no commercial license. Don't clone a person's voice without consent. If a synthetic voice is used in an ad in a way that affects consumers' decisions, disclose it (in Turkey: Commercial Advertising Regulation, Art. 18/8); if unsure, disclose it anyway.
