Step by step: Marketplace copy for a product: title, description and a reply to a customer

You can do this job with a single chat assistant: pick either ChatGPT or Gemini. The other tools in the kit are for separate jobs, like images and customer messages.

Pick one:
  1. 1. Prepare

    Gather the product information

List the product's features: size, weight, color, material, usage warnings. Mark values the manufacturer claims (e.g. "keeps drinks hot for 12 hours") separately as "manufacturer's claim". Don't write any feature you don't know for sure.

  2. 2. Create

    Have it write the draft

Open a new chat in ChatGPT or Gemini, replace the product details in the prompt below with your own and paste it. In ChatGPT, first turn off the use of your chats for model training in Settings > Data controls.

    Ready-made prompt

I sell products on an online marketplace. Product: 500 ml stainless steel vacuum flask; double-wall vacuum insulation; according to the manufacturer, keeps drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24 hours; color khaki green; weight 320 g; the lid has a leak-proof seal; not dishwasher safe. Using this information: 1) Suggest 3 different product titles for the marketplace, writing [BRAND] instead of the brand name. 2) Write a 5-bullet product description; don't add any feature I haven't given. 3) A customer asked: "If I pour in freshly brewed tea, will it still be hot after 12 hours, and can I put it in the dishwasher?" Write a short, polite and honest reply. 4) Suggest a background for the product photo and list the product features that must not change in the image when editing it with AI.

  3. 3. Check

    Check the result

    • Do the titles keep the [BRAND] placeholder?
    • Does the description include a feature you didn't give (e.g. BPA-free, warranty, free gift)? If so, delete it.
    • Is the manufacturer's claim written as a firm promise? Change it to "according to the manufacturer".
    • Does the reply to the customer clearly say "no" to prohibited uses such as the dishwasher?
    • Is the language natural and free of typos?

    • Gemini · Google AI Pro · October 9 · did not meet the criterion
    • claude · Claude Max · October 9 · met the criterion
  4. 4. Use

Copy it into your seller panel

Replace [BRAND] with your own brand and paste the text into the fields of the marketplace seller panel. For the product image, see the "White Background Product Image for Marketplaces" prompt.

Start free

  • Gemini: The tool most recommended for e-commerce images on Turkish forums; the free plan includes image generation and editing, so you can upload a product photo and ask for a white background or a lifestyle scene. First step: Upload your own product photo and paste the "White Background Product Image for Marketplaces" prompt from the library; check the visible watermark under Settings > Media Watermark.
  • ChatGPT: Unlimited text chat on the free plan for drafting product titles, bulleted descriptions and replies to customer questions. First step: First turn off the use of your chats for model training in Settings > Data controls, then give only the product's real features and say "don't add features I haven't given".
  • Canva: Templates for campaign banners, sale posters and storefront images, with a Turkish-language interface available; the free plan includes 20 uses of AI tools. First step: Open a blank design at the size the marketplace requires, add the product photo and write the discount text yourself; spend your AI uses only on background work.
  • tawk.to: A free live chat box for answering customer questions on your own site (ikas, Shopify); marketplace questions stay in the panel's own Q&A screen. First step: Create an account, add the chat code to your site and prepare canned replies for your 5 most common questions; AI auto-replies are a paid add-on.

First payment

  • Photoroom: Background removal, AI backgrounds and AI models are built for marketplace listings; the Pro plan unlocks commercial use and gives 8,000 credits and 1,000 exports a month. First step: First batch-process 10 of your products in the free trial, check whether the export quota covers your month, then switch to the annual plan.
  • Picsart: An alternative sold in local currency in Turkey; the Pro plan has advanced background and object removal plus batch editing of up to 50 images. First step: Start with the monthly plan and try batch editing on one product group; if the need continues, switch to annual (up to 30% savings, according to the pricing page).

As you grow

  • Photoroom: The Max plan adds 25,000 credits and 3,000 exports a month plus a product video generator; when Pro's quota isn't enough, you stay in the same tool. First step: See how many days your Pro quota lasts; if it fills up before the month ends, switch to Max (credits arrive immediately on upgrade).
  • Canva: With Pro's brand kit and templates, all your campaign images come out in the same colors and fonts. First step: Add your logo, two colors and one font to the brand kit, and save your banner templates with this kit.
  • Chatwoot: An open-source customer communication tool that brings website chat, WhatsApp, Instagram and email into one inbox. First step: Connect website chat on the free Hacker plan; as you approach the 500 conversations a month limit, move to Startups or your own server.

The same task in Turkish

What a good answer should include: The [BRAND] placeholder stays in the titles; the description has no features that weren't given (BPA-free, warranty, free gift, etc.); the 12-hour figure is passed on as a manufacturer's claim, with no firm promise; the reply to the customer says "no" to the dishwasher; the image list includes color, lid/seal and proportions; the Turkish is natural and free of typos.

  • ChatGPT · met the criterion (ChatGPT Plus (paid plan), thinking: Medium · October 8, 2026)
[BRAND] is kept in all three titles; it added no features that weren't given to the description and passed on the 12-hour figure as 'according to the manufacturer'. The reply to the customer clearly says the flask is 'not suitable' for the dishwasher and makes no guarantee about temperature; it only added emoji to the reply. The list of things that must not change includes color, lid/seal and proportions; unprompted, it also gave an image-editing prompt in English.
  • Gemini · did not meet the criterion (Google AI Pro (paid plan), model: Flash (default) · October 9, 2026)
[BRAND] is kept in the titles and no new features were added to the description; it says the flask is 'not suitable' for the dishwasher. But in the reply to the customer it made a firm promise, 'your brewed tea will stay hot throughout this time', presenting the manufacturer's claim as a guarantee. The keep-unchanged list includes color and body proportions.
  • claude · met the criterion (Claude Max (paid plan), model: Opus 5.5 · October 9, 2026)
[BRAND] stayed in all three titles; the 5-bullet description has no features that weren't given; the 12-hour figure appears in both places as "according to the manufacturer", and the customer was told the tea won't be as hot after 12 hours as at first; it clearly said "not suitable" for the dishwasher; the list of things that must not change includes color, lid/seal and the sense of the 500 ml scale. On its own, it also added a note that the performance claim in the title could be a problem on some marketplaces.
