What Is Cila? The Tool That Finds Your Competitors' Top-Performing Posts on Instagram and TikTok
You add public Instagram and TikTok accounts to Cila (cila.app); it compares each post with that account's usual performance and shows the posts that perform far above average, with their captions, transcripts and audio. It's used to see which topics and hooks are working for competitors. There's no free plan or trial: the Creator plan is $12 for the first month, then $24/month; there's a full refund guarantee within 7 days of purchase. The interface is in English. It can be added to Claude and ChatGPT as a custom connector.

What Is Cila For?
This page is about cila.app, an AI-powered content research tool, not about car or furniture polish (which is what "cila" means in Turkish).
Cila compares the posts of the accounts you follow, one by one, with that account's own usual performance. So instead of a "highly viewed" post, you find the post that "performed far above what's expected for this account"; in the example, one post reached 10.7 times the account's average. You open it, look at its topic, hook and format, and turn the pattern into your own content.
Who it helps: social media managers, agencies, content creators and business owners who want to see which competitor posts are working and feed their own content ideas. Cila doesn't post on your account.

How Do You Use Cila? Your First Research
- Add 5–10 competitor or example accounts to follow; sort them into lists by brand, client or niche.
- Sort the posts by "Outlier score"; choose a range such as the last 30 days or 2 months. There are content type and platform filters.
- Open a few of the highest-scoring posts: look at the caption, transcript, audio and numbers; note the hook, topic and format.
- Save the ones you like to your list; if you're on the Business plan, export to Excel. Then turn the pattern into your own original idea.
!The score is based only on public signals (views, engagement, format). It doesn't tell you why a post worked; you interpret the guess.
