What Is Lovable? Free Plan, Pro Pricing, Credit Limits, Turkish and Building Websites
You describe what you want to Lovable in a chat; it builds a website or web app, sets up parts like a database and user login, and publishes it. You don't need to know how to code. The free plan has 5 build credits per day (at most 30 per month); editing the code, downloading it and connecting your own domain are paid. Pro is $25 billed monthly, or $21/month billed yearly. You can write prompts in any language; the interface, however, is not in Turkish.

What is Lovable for?
You describe what you want to build in a chat: "a mobile-friendly café website with a menu filterable by category". Lovable writes the interface and, if needed, the database and user login, and shows the result in a live preview next to the chat. When you're happy, you publish with one click; Lovable handles the hosting.
According to the official docs, things people build include company websites and landing pages, dashboards, customer portals, booking and marketplace apps, and AI chatbots. It can also generate files such as presentations, images, short videos and PDFs.
!Lovable builds web apps; it does not build native mobile apps to publish on the App Store or Google Play. If you want it to open like an app on a phone, you can make a PWA of the site that opens via "add to home screen", or wrap the published URL with Capacitor outside Lovable; the latter is a separate project.
Who it's for: business owners, consultants, teachers and content creators who want to build a promo site, a form or a simple app without coding. People who can code also use it for a fast first version.
How do you download Lovable and create an account?
You use Lovable in the browser without installing anything. The desktop and phone apps work with the same account, projects and credits.
- Open lovable.dev/signup, and sign up with email and password, Google, GitHub or Apple. After signing up, a personal workspace on the free plan is created automatically.
- Age requirement: The terms of use require you to be 18; if you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- You can type what you want to build into the box on the homepage; when you submit it, Lovable asks you to sign up and keeps what you wrote.
The sign-up docs don't say whether phone verification or ID is required; follow the steps shown on screen.
- lovable.dev/download — download the macOS (12 and later) or Windows version from this page. Available on every plan, including Free, at no extra cost.
- Sign in with the same account. The desktop version also has local MCP support, tabs for multiple projects and shortcuts.
- iPhone and iPad: "Lovable: Build Apps With AI" on the App Store (iOS 15 and later). Android: Google Play (Android 9 and later).
- Sign in with the same account; plans and credits are shared. Creating an account and some payment actions still require lovable.dev in the browser.
!Plans and credits are purchased through the App Store in the iOS app, and in the browser (lovable.dev) on Android; the Android app has no in-app purchases.
How do you use Lovable?
- Sign in and describe what you want to build in plain language in the prompt box ("Ask Lovable to create…"); you can write in any language.
- The first version arrives in a few minutes. Try it in the live preview on the right and ask for fixes in the chat on the left.
- For small visual changes, select the element in the preview and write what you want.
- When it's ready, press the Publish button at the top right twice; the site goes live at a lovable.app address.
- Build: applies the prompt directly to your project. The cost depends on the complexity of the task.
- Plan: first researches and writes a plan for you to approve, without changing code. 1 credit per message (plus research, if any).
- Chat: you talk about your app; the code doesn't change. Deducted from the daily chat allowance.
- You switch between modes at any time from the selector above the chat.
- For a build error, try "Try to fix" once or twice. Your account has 10 free fixes; each becomes available again 24 hours after use, and once they run out, fixes count as regular build credits.
- If the error persists, switch to Chat or Plan mode and describe what you see, so it investigates without changing code.
- If the last change broke something, revert to an earlier version from the version history.
!AI can make mistakes. The terms of use ask you not to use output for high-risk matters such as health, law or finance without reviewing it. Check prices, dates and legal text yourself before publishing.

Where Lovable is used: chat, publishing, backend, code
Lovable splits into four jobs. For most people the first two are enough: building through chat and publishing.
You can also open your app only to people you invite. On every plan, by default, it is public to anyone who knows the published URL; the "invited only" option is available on every plan.
Publishing, domains, database and login
Publishing: when you press Publish, Lovable puts the current state of the project at an address; you don't need to set up a server, and HTTPS is included. Publishing to a lovable.app address is free on every plan. A small security scan (Quick scan) runs automatically when you publish.
Your own domain: on paid plans you connect your own domain from Project › Settings then Domains or buy a domain through Lovable (the domain price isn't listed in the official docs; you see it at checkout). You must publish the project first. To buy a domain you must be an admin or owner of the workspace.
Database and login: by default every project can use the built-in backend (Cloud): database, user login, file storage. Just write "add user login". The free plan has 20 Cloud credits per month; growing apps exceed this and spend from the general credits.
- The free plan doesn't limit visitors or bandwidth for published sites; the one exception: for new apps created after May 13, 2026, a limit of 1,000 server requests per 10 seconds per project (page loads and server functions count, image and script files don't).
- In a free workspace, a site that gets no visits for 12 months and whose owner doesn't sign in may be unpublished.
- Sites show an "Edit with Lovable" badge at the bottom; it can be turned off on paid plans.
GitHub, Supabase, payments and downloading code
With these integrations, Lovable opens your project to other services or to your own accounts.
| What | How it works | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| GitHub sync | Lovable creates a new repository from the project and syncs both ways. You can't connect an existing repository to Lovable. | Every plan |
| Supabase | You connect your own Supabase project instead of the built-in backend; Supabase bills you. There is no one-click switch from the built-in backend to Supabase, so decide early. | Every plan; requires a Supabase account |
| Accepting payments | Built-in payments are for selling digital products and software; on the free plan you connect your own Stripe account. | Built-in: paid. Your own Stripe: free plan too |
| Downloading code | You get a .zip with "Download codebase" in the Code tab or in Project settings then Git. | Paid plans |
| Editing code | You edit by hand in the Code tab and save; every save goes into the version history. | Paid plans; read-only on Free |
On every plan, the code can also be obtained through Git sync. The database is outside the code: it is exported from More › Cloud › Overview › Advanced settings; export files don't include function code or secrets.
!Lovable doesn't let you choose a framework (such as Next.js) or a database; everything uses the same stack. If you want to move to another stack, you sync the code with Git and continue outside Lovable.
Are apps built with Lovable secure?
Lovable tries to write code that avoids common security mistakes and offers two scans: Quick scan runs automatically on every publish (database access rules, known vulnerable packages), and Deep scan is run manually from the Security view and looks at the app's logic. Findings are labeled "Critical", "Warning" and "Info".
- Scans don't guarantee security. For apps that handle sensitive data or critical work, consider a separate professional security review.
- You are responsible for your app's security; check whether there is a screen that can show someone else's data or an action anyone can trigger.
- Don't write secret keys into the page code; use Lovable's secrets field.
Is Lovable free? Plans and pricing
Yes, there is a free plan. On Free you can build, see the live preview and publish at a lovable.app address. You can't edit or download the code, connect your own domain or add built-in payments. Plans are priced not by seats but by the credits they give each month; you can add as many people as you like to a workspace.
- 5 build credits per day (at most 30 per month)
- 20 Cloud and 4 AI credits per month
- Publishing at a lovable.app address
- Code view (read-only), Git sync
- Desktop and phone apps
- Code editing and download
- Custom domain
- Built-in payments
- Email support
- Tiers starting at 100 credits per month
- Plus 5 daily credits, no monthly cap

- Credit rollover, top-ups, email support

View as a table (tiers and prices)
| Plan | Web (monthly) | Web (yearly) | iOS app (App Store) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | - | - |
| Pro, 100 credits/month | $25 | $250 ($21/month) | Pro Plan (price set per country) |
| Pro, 200 credits/month | $50 | $500 ($42/month) | - |
| Pro, 400 credits/month | $100 | $1,000 ($84/month) | - |
| Business, 100 credits/month | $50 | $500 ($42/month) | Business Plan (price set per country) |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Contact sales | - |
Pro and Business have 11 tiers from 100 to 10,000 credits; all are on the official plans page. Yearly billing gives two months free compared with monthly. A plan bought in the iOS app is valid for one month and doesn't renew; in-app prices are set per country by the App Store, and the store page doesn't say how many credits the "Pro Plan" gives.
Prices may not include tax; tax is added at checkout and on the invoice. A separate rate or regional plan for Turkey is not stated in the official documentation. The official pricing page says that on some regional plans daily credits are capped at 30 per month; whether Turkey falls in this scope is unclear. Before paying, go by the limit you see on the plan screen.
Someone who signs up with your invite link gets 10 bonus credits. When the person you invited pays for their first Pro or Business subscription, you get 100 bonus credits; a sign-up alone earns no credits. Referral credits expire after 12 months.

Lovable credit limits: how are they spent, when do they reset?
Credits are the unit Lovable uses to measure usage. There is a single balance; it covers building the site, chatting with Lovable, hosting and the backend (Cloud) of the site you publish, and AI features inside the site. The number of messages isn't fixed: the bigger the task, the more credits it uses.
| Prompt (official example) | Credits used |
|---|---|
| "Make the button gray" | 0.50 |
| "Remove the footer" | 0.90 |
| "Add login" | 1.20 |
| Build a landing page with images | 2.00 |
The figures are examples given by Lovable; actual cost varies by project. You can see the exact cost of each reply in the "Credits used" menu under it. A stopped prompt is charged only for the work already done.
Every day at 00:00 UTC (03:00 Turkey time) 5 build credits are renewed, and they don't roll over to the next day. On the free plan at most 30 are given per month; so you get 5 credits a day for the first 6 days of the month, and none after that until the 1st of the next month.
The free plan also includes 20 Cloud, 4 AI and 1 connector credit per month; these can only be spent on their own purposes. The official docs describe these allowances as a temporary offer that may change.
Monthly plan credits expire 2 months after they are granted, yearly plan credits 1 month after the yearly term ends, and top-ups (extra credits) 12 months after purchase.
The official docs say the daily chat allowance and per-message price for Chat mode and Chats are valid until October 31, 2026 and may change.
- Building anything new stops; a warning appears until you add credits or wait for them to renew.
- If they run out mid-task, the task stops; when you add credits it continues where it left off, or "Finish up" completes what it has.
- AI features inside the site stop working, and backend services such as the database, storage and login pause shortly after. Your data isn't deleted, but you can't access or export it during that time.
- Fix: a top-up or auto top-up on a paid plan, or upgrading on Free. If the backend doesn't wake up on its own after you add credits, press Wake up in More › Cloud › Overview.
A single long-running prompt pauses at a 20-credit threshold (adjustable in settings) and asks whether to continue, so there is no unexpected spending.
Is Lovable available in Turkish, does it work when you write in Turkish?
| Writing prompts in TurkishPartly | The official quick start says you can write prompts "in any language". Turkish isn't listed separately, and the official documentation says nothing about the quality of results in Turkish; test it with your own work. |
|---|---|
| Interface (menus)No | Interface language options: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai. Turkish isn't on the list; also, not every section is translated. |
| Phone appNo | The iOS app's App Store page lists English only. |
| Voice dictationUnclear | The chat box has a microphone button (Alt+V, Option+V on Mac). Which languages it understands is not stated in the official documentation. |
The language of the site you build depends on your prompt: if you give the text in Turkish, the site will be in Turkish too. Review the generated Turkish text before publishing.
What happens to what I write in Lovable? Training and privacy
Since September 9, 2026, content on the Free and Pro plans (prompts, images and files you add, code, outputs) may be used to train and improve AI models unless you turn it off. On by default. To turn it off, switch off "Use my Lovable content for model training" under Account settings then Preferences then AI model training. Business and Enterprise workspaces are excluded from training by default.
Turning it off works going forward: it doesn't withdraw your content from training data already collected or from models already trained.
Data entered by your site's visitors and customers stays in your project's own database and isn't used for model training.
The standard terms prohibit processing health data, card details, account numbers, ID numbers and biometric data through Lovable (including the apps you build). To take card payments, use built-in payments or your own Stripe account.
Lovable holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certifications. It is not HIPAA compliant. It offers a data processing agreement for GDPR. Nothing specific to KVKK (Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law) is stated in the official documentation.
"Delete account" in the Danger zone under Account settings then Account. You must first transfer or delete workspaces you are the sole owner of. Deletion becomes final at the end of a 30-day waiting period; during that time you can sign in and cancel it.
!Before attaching a file with a customer list, ID or health information to a prompt, turn off the training setting; never upload sensitive data at all.
Can I use a site built with Lovable for my business, and who owns the code?
Yes. According to the terms of use, you own customer data and AI output, including apps and sites; only third-party rights in models or open-source components are reserved. You can use the site commercially and host it outside Lovable.
- Using the site and app you build in your business and selling them to your clients
- Downloading the code or syncing it with Git and hosting it elsewhere
- Connecting your own domain to your site (paid plan)
- Using Lovable output or prompts to train a competing AI model
- Processing sensitive data such as health, card or ID data under the standard terms
- Presenting AI output as human work in a way that causes harm or misleads
- Using the Lovable name and logo in a way that implies affiliation
- Lovable owns lovable.app addresses; use your own domain for your site's permanent address.
- AI output may be similar or identical to other users' output and is not guaranteed to be original; review it before publishing.
