What Is Suno? Free Plan, Pro Pricing, Songs in Turkish, Copyright and Commercial Use

You type a sentence or your own lyrics into Suno and it generates a song, with or without vocals. It's an AI music tool. The free plan gives you 50 credits a day (about 10 songs), but songs made on the free plan are for personal use only and downloads are almost nonexistent. For revenue-earning use on YouTube or Spotify you need Pro ($10/month) or Premier. The official sources neither confirm nor rule out Turkish lyrics; a Turkish interface exists on the website but not in the iPhone app.

What does Suno do?

Suno is an AI tool that turns a sentence you write, or your own lyrics, into a complete song with or without vocals: lyrics, melody, arrangement and, if you want, a singing voice. You can make a birthday song, an ad jingle, background music for a video or a sung version of a poem you wrote. You don't need to read music.

Each attempt produces two different songs and you pick the one you like; a single generation can run up to 8 minutes. You can later extend the song, change a section, add your own voice or split it into vocals and instruments. Some of these are on paid plans.

Since October 2026 there is also Speech (beta), which voices the text you write in a voice you describe, with background music; Suno doesn't say which plans include it. If it appears on the Create screen, you can try it.

Who it's for: small business owners looking for original music for their videos and ads, content creators, teachers who want lesson or children's songs, people who write lyrics but can't compose, and anyone who wants a song made as a gift.

You can't use songs made on the free plan to earn money (YouTube ad revenue, Spotify, client work). Details are in the "Commercial use and copyright" section.

How do you sign in to Suno and create an account?

You can use Suno in a browser with no installation. The iPhone and Android apps work with the same account, and your songs are the same everywhere.

  1. Open suno.com and click the sign-up button at the top (on the Turkish-language page it is labeled in Turkish).
  2. Sign in with an account. Suno doesn't use email and password; you sign in with your Google, Apple, Discord, Facebook or Microsoft account. Always sign in with the one you used to sign up; otherwise your songs may look as if they're in a different account.
  3. Check the age requirement. Under the Terms of Service you must be 18 or older; ages 13-17 can use it with a parent's or legal guardian's permission, and under-13s can't use it. The feature that uses your own voice (Voices) is open only to people 18 and over.
  4. Start with a free account. You get 50 credits every day. Under the Terms, opening multiple accounts to benefit from the free tier is prohibited.

If no code arrives when signing in with a phone number, or you get a "restricted region" error, Suno says this can be applied in some regions because of suspicious activity; write to support@suno.com, and they may ask you to open a new account with an account such as Google.

How do you use Suno to make a song?

  1. Go to suno.com/create or tap Create in the app. At the top there are Simple, Custom (Advanced on some screens) and Sounds (beta) tabs.
  2. In Simple mode, describe what you want to hear. The dice button gives you a random idea. You can describe the genre, instruments, mood and the song's structure.
  3. In Custom mode, paste your own lyrics. Put your lyrics in the lyrics box, the musical style in the Style field, and give it a title. Having Suno write the lyrics (Co-write) is also available on the free plan.
  4. Click Create. Two songs are generated and 10 credits are used. Pick the one you like; if you don't like either, try again.
  5. Choose the model at the top right. The model picker is at the top right of the Create form; details are in the "Which model?" section.
Simple mode: birthday song"An upbeat acoustic pop birthday song for my sister Elif, warm female vocals, handclaps, happy and playful"The examples on the official help pages are in English. Information about prompts and lyrics written in Turkish is in the "Turkish" section.
Custom mode: your own lyrics"Style: indie folk, soft acoustic guitar, slow tempo, warm male vocal Lyrics: (your own verses and chorus)"Put the genre, instruments, tempo and vocal style in the Style field; paste your lyrics into the Lyrics field. As long as you hold the rights to your lyrics, they're yours on every plan.
Instrumental music for a video or ad"Calm lo-fi instrumental for a café promo video, soft piano, light vinyl crackle, around 90 BPM, no vocals"For a song without vocals, you can turn on the Instrumental button on the Create screen.
Settings that steer the result
  • Weirdness: from Safe to Chaos; 50 percent is a "normal" result (Custom mode).
  • Style Influence: how closely it sticks to the style you wrote (Loose - Strong).
  • Audio Influence: if you uploaded audio, how close it stays to that audio.
  • Variety: adds variety by changing style tags; set it to 0 to keep your tags exactly as written.
  • Exclude: in Custom mode, under Advanced Options, you list instruments or elements you don't want.
  • Vocal Gender: Male or Female under Advanced Options; in Simple mode you can write "male" or "female" in your prompt.
Who can see your songs, and how do you share them?

New songs are "Link Only" by default: only people with the link can listen. If you make a song Public, it appears on your profile and in playlists. Listening and sharing on Suno are unlimited on every plan; the limit applies only to downloading files.

Names of famous artists and people, copyrighted or trademarked phrases and excessive profanity can block generation. Suno says that if it sees an artist name in your prompt, it removes the name and steers toward phrases that describe the style.

You may not get the result you want on the first try. Since each generation gives two songs and uses 10 credits, the free plan allows 5 generations a day; plan your credits for several attempts and start with a short idea.

To find style, instrument and structure words among music terms, see Suno's "Music Glossary" help page.

How do you download Suno songs? MP3, WAV, stems and the download limit

MP3All plans; web and mobileWAVPro and Premier; suno.com onlyMP4Downloading the song as a video fileZIPWhen you download several songs at once

Listening and sharing on Suno are unlimited on every plan, but since September 3, 2026, downloading a song as a file depends on a monthly allowance. This allowance is separate from credits and also determines commercial use rights.

PlanMonthly download allowanceCommercial rights to downloaded songs
FreeAt most 7 trial downloads for life (accounts opened before September 3, 2026); accounts opened later may occasionally get trial downloadsNo
Pro20Yes
Premier60; unlimited exports from StudioYes
  • One song is one download: downloading the same song again or in another format doesn't use a second download. The song's stem files are also included in that song's download.
  • Failed or interrupted downloads don't count.
  • The limit also applies to older songs: downloading an old song for the first time counts against this month's allowance.
  • Your monthly download allowance renews on your billing date and doesn't roll over. Individual downloads and packs you buy do roll over.
  • When your allowance runs out you can keep listening and sharing on Suno; you can buy extra downloads.
  1. Single song: In your Library or Workspace, open the song's three-dot menu, go to Download and choose the file type.
  2. Several songs: Select the songs while holding Command on a Mac or Ctrl on Windows, right-click and choose Download All; the songs download as a ZIP.
  3. WAV: Only on Pro and Premier and only on suno.com; if you download on your phone you get MP3.
What happens if I end my subscription?

Your library and songs stay in your account; you can listen and share on Suno. Your download allowance goes back to the free tier's limit. Under the Terms, commercial rights to songs you downloaded while subscribed are permanent; they aren't affected by cancellation, downgrading or running out of allowance.

The Terms require you to download any song you'll use commercially with Suno's download button. Screen recording or copying from the stream (stream ripping) is prohibited; removing the watermark, fingerprint or metadata Suno adds is also prohibited.

Songs in your own voice, editing, stem separation and Studio

After generating a song, you reach the editing tools from the three-dot menu in the Library. Some are also on the free plan; voice, stems and Studio are on paid plans.

Your own voice only; 18 and over; not available in some regions.

For the cleanest result, a recording without music (a cappella) and a good microphone are recommended. Voices replaced the old "Personas" button; style personas are in the Voices menu. Under the Terms, creating a Voice with someone else's voice is prohibited, and Suno requires verification for this reason. Your voice may count as biometric data; details are in the "My data" section.

Suno's pages contradict each other on whether Voices is on the free plan: the pricing page table says it isn't included in free, while the Voices page says "limited access on the free plan". Whether it can be used in Turkey is not stated in the official documentation. If "Add Voice" doesn't appear on the Create screen, check your Pro plan and your region.

Stem separation (splitting vocals and instruments)

Stems are the separate parts of a song, such as vocals, drums and bass. They're available to Pro and Premier subscribers; each split uses extra credits.

ModeWhat it doesCreditsPlan
Auto SplitAutomatically splits the song into up to 12 stems50Pro and Premier
Split from MixSeparates the single instrument or vocal you choose from the rest10 (20 in total for the two parts)Pro and Premier
Advanced SplitSplits out the ones you choose from about 100 instruments10 per stemPremier only

If you try to split out an instrument that isn't in the song, credits may be used but you may not get a usable stem. Stem files are included in that song's download allowance.

Suno Studio

Studio is a music studio (DAW) that runs in your browser: you edit the song piece by piece on a timeline with MIDI, audio recording, effects and automation, and you can have instruments and plugins designed through a chat bar (beta). Premier plan only. High-quality multitrack and stem exports from Studio have no download limit; getting MIDI costs an extra 10 credits.

Which model? Differences between v6, v6-wild and v6-mini

Every song on Suno is generated by a model. You change it with the model picker at the top right of the Create form; your choice stays until you change it. All three models are from the same v6 family and all three can make songs up to 8 minutes in a single generation. Earlier models have been removed; your old songs stay in your library.

ModelWhat it's for, per SunoSpeedWhich plan
v6Main model: balanced and precise; for when you know what you want; recommended for most songsNot stated by SunoPro and Premier
v6-wildExperimental: less predictable, blends genres, surprising resultsNot stated by SunoPro and Premier

Which one to pick
  • If you know what you want and want control: v6 (Suno's recommendation)
  • If you're after surprises and new ideas: v6-wild
  • For quick drafts or free experimenting: v6-mini
  • To repeat your own style: a custom model or Voices
Effect on your usage

The model choice doesn't change the credit cost: v6 generations cost the same as before, 10 credits for two songs. What raises the cost is adding many image or video inputs, and Max Mode.

Max Mode

An option you can turn on for any generation, where the model spends more processing to find the right result; it uses more credits. Suno recommends it for songs longer than 2 minutes, covers that need to stay close to the original, transferring one song's style to another, and consistent vocals from start to finish.

How to change it

suno.com/create → the model picker at the top right of the Create form. If you use Voices, a custom model or My Taste, make sure you're on a compatible model. If you set the Variety slider to 0, your style tags are kept exactly.

All older models have been removed. Your old songs remain and can be played and shared; if you extend them or make a cover, the job runs on the new model and may sound different. Reported by users Some users write that they preferred the removed older versions and find the new model less varied.

Model names and plans are based on Suno Help Center pages updated September 9, 2026 (as of October 14, 2026); Suno changes its models often. The "What it's for, per Suno" column comes from Suno's own descriptions, and "Which one to pick" is derived from them: try two on your own work and compare.

Is Suno free? Plans, credits and pricing

Yes, there is a free plan: 50 credits a day (about 10 songs), a free model, extend, cover and lyric writing. But songs you make on the free plan are for personal, non-commercial use only, and there is no regular download allowance. There are two paid plans.

The App Store listing also has a separate, higher-priced item each for Pro and Premier; the page doesn't state their duration (they may be yearly). Check the subscription length in the App Store before buying. Credit packs of 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 credits are also sold there, and "1 Download Credit" appears as two separate items (the difference is not stated on the page).

Tax is added to web prices at checkout; Suno doesn't state the rate for Turkey. Suno's payment system lists the Turkish lira among accepted currencies, but no lira amount appears on the official pricing page; exact lira prices are shown only in the App Store. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades at the end of the billing period.

What are credits?

The currency for generating songs. Each generation gives two songs and uses 10 credits. Adding many image or video inputs uses more; Max Mode also uses more credits.

When do they renew?

On the free plan you get 50 credits every day (by UTC time) and they don't carry over to the next day. On paid plans, monthly credits renew at the time you purchased and don't roll over. If your monthly credits run out, you get another 50 credits a day until the end of the period.

When credits run out

Buy extra credits with Buy More Credits on the suno.com/account page. Purchased extra credits never expire, but you need an active subscription to use them.

Credits and downloads are separate counters

Credits generate songs; download allowance takes the file outside Suno. The monthly download allowance is in the "Downloads and file types" section.

Can Suno sing in Turkish? Turkish interface and Turkish prompts

Turkish lyrics and Turkish vocalsUnclearSuno's official pages don't list supported languages; they neither confirm nor rule out Turkish. The Voices page tells you to record "in any style or language you want". Reported by users Users on Ekşi Sözlük (a Turkish forum) wrote that songs with Turkish lyrics can be made, and that on the previous model version results were mostly mediocre or similar to each other. There is no official source on Turkish results with the current model. Before moving to a paid plan, test on the free plan with short lyrics (one verse and a chorus).
Writing prompts in TurkishUnclearThe examples on the help pages are in English; there is no official information on prompts written in Turkish. You can try writing the style in English and the lyrics in Turkish and compare the two.
Website menusPartlysuno.com/tr opens in Turkish and the page bundle contains Turkish interface text; the official documentation doesn't make clear whether every screen after sign-in is in Turkish. The Help Center is English only.
iPhone appNoThe App Store listing gives the app languages as English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish; Turkish is not among them. Reported by users Requests for a Turkish interface come up often in App Store reviews from Turkey.
Android appUnclearThe language list is not stated in the official documentation.
Paying in Turkish liraYesSuno lists the Turkish lira among accepted currencies at checkout; in the App Store, prices in Turkey are in lira. Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are accepted.

Turkish replies, Turkish interface and Turkish lyrics are listed in separate rows. Screens that vary by account are marked "partly" or "unclear".

What happens to what I write and upload to Suno?

Model training

The Privacy Policy says the content you submit (lyrics, uploads) and your activity are used to train and improve models. The Terms grant a broad license over content that covers improving products. A setting to turn this off is not stated in the official documentation.

Your voice recording (Voices)

Your voice recording may count as biometric data. Suno keeps this data for up to 3 years after your last interaction and can also use it to train models. You may upload only your own voice.

What you upload must be yours

When you upload audio, lyrics or music, you confirm that you hold the rights. Suno scans uploads and lyrics for unauthorized use with providers such as Audible Magic and Musixmatch.

Who can see your songs

New songs are "Link Only" by default: anyone with the link can listen. Once you make a song Public, it appears on your profile and in playlists; you can turn off comments per song.

Deleting and closing your account

You can move a song to the trash and delete it permanently. Deleting your account in the app is permanent; songs and personal data can't be recovered. Suno reserves the right to close accounts that go unused for a long time.

Age

Suno is for ages 13 and up; under-18s can use it with parental permission. Voices is open only to people 18 and over. In the EU the age limit is 13-16 depending on the country.

Suno has no Turkey-specific statement regarding KVKK (Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law); the data controller is Suno, Inc. in the US. Get permission before uploading voices or lyrics that belong to a client or anyone else.

Can I use Suno songs for my business? Commercial use, copyright and licensing

Short answer: you can use songs commercially if you made them while subscribed to Pro or Premier and downloaded them from Suno; you can't use songs from the free plan. "Commercial rights" and "copyright" are not the same thing; they're explained separately below. This section summarizes Suno's Terms of Service, effective September 3, 2026, and its Help Center pages. It is not legal advice.

SituationWhat you can do
You made it on the free planPersonal, non-commercial use only: listen and share via a Suno link. No revenue-earning use. Subscribing later doesn't automatically give commercial rights to past songs.
You made and downloaded it on Pro or PremierYou have commercial use rights: monetization, distribution, sale. The rights apply to songs you downloaded using your download allowance.
You made it while subscribed but didn't download itThe Terms recognize commercial use only for songs obtained through Suno's download channel. If you'll use it commercially, download it first.
Your subscription endedRights to songs you downloaded while subscribed continue (permanently). Songs you make after it ends are not commercial.
A remix of someone else's songNo commercial use. Remixes are for personal use only.
Allowed
  • Uploading songs you downloaded while subscribed to platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music through a distributor
  • Using them in your content on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok (including monetized channels)
  • Using them as music for ads, films, series or games; selling them on their own (e.g., as an album)
  • You don't have to credit Suno; Suno takes no share of revenue
Not allowed
  • Using free plan songs to earn money
  • Using a song commercially that you didn't download or that you captured by screen recording
  • Removing or hiding the watermark, fingerprint or metadata Suno adds
  • Making money from someone else's lyrics without permission
  • Using the output to build a competing music generation product or to train an AI model
  • Creating a Voice with someone else's voice or pretending to be an artist
YouTube and Spotify

The Help Center says that with Pro and Premier you can upload to Spotify and Apple Music through a distributor and use songs in YouTube and TikTok content. But each platform's own rules apply. The Terms say that a platform rejecting a use doesn't reduce the rights Suno grants; the platform decides that use.

Content ID and copyright claims

Content ID is YouTube's system that automatically matches uploaded videos against rights holders' registrations. Suno's official pages don't mention Content ID. The Terms only say that relevant rights holders may have the right to collect revenue from distribution on third-party platforms, and they give no guarantee that the output won't infringe others' rights. So there's no guarantee a song won't receive a claim.

Someone else's lyrics

Lyrics you write yourself are yours on every plan. If someone else wrote them, you need permission. The Help Center says that trying to make money with someone else's lyrics can get your YouTube channel shut down and lead distributors to reject future uploads.

Someone else may get the same song

The Terms state that output may not be unique between users, and that someone else may get a similar result from a similar prompt.

Copyright and commercial rights are not the same

Commercial rights are the usage permission Suno gives you. Copyright is the law of a country that protects a work, and Suno can't grant it. The Terms give no guarantee that copyright will arise in the output. According to the Help Center, in the US music generated solely by AI may not be eligible for copyright protection, while lyrics you wrote yourself may be protected. It recommends consulting your own region's office before applying to a copyright office, and says some distributors may exclude songs that aren't eligible for copyright protection. The situation in Turkey is not stated in the official documentation.

If you're using it on behalf of a company

The Terms ask "enterprise" users to contact the sales team but don't define the term. The Help Center's VAT page (written for the EU) says Suno accounts count as personal use and business tax exemptions don't apply. Before using it for client work, it makes sense to write to Suno and ask which plan applies, and to consult a lawyer if needed.

Source: Suno Terms of Service (last revised August 10, 2026, effective September 3, 2026; "Pro and Premier Accounts", "Free or Basic Tier Accounts", "Remixes", "Permitted Commercial Use"), the Help Center "Rights & Ownership" and download pages. Older help pages refer to songs "made while subscribed", the new Terms to songs "downloaded"; the Terms are taken as authoritative. This is not legal advice.

Common problems and fixes

What's happeningWhat to do
I can't sign in with email and passwordSuno doesn't use email/password. Sign in with Google, Apple, Discord, Facebook or Microsoft, whichever you chose when you signed up. If your songs don't show up, you may have more than one account; support@suno.com can merge accounts.
No code arrives when signing in by phone, or a "restricted region" errorWrite to support@suno.com. Suno says the region restriction can be applied because of a spike in suspicious activity and is usually not permanent; you can open a new account with an account such as Google and have your music and credits moved over.
I ran out of creditsOn the free plan, 50 credits arrive the next day. On paid plans, wait for the monthly renewal (you get another 50 credits a day until the end of the period) or buy extra credits with Buy More Credits.
I ran out of downloadsThe allowance renews on your billing date, or you can buy extra downloads. Listening and sharing continue.
There's no WAV optionWAV is only on Pro and Premier and only on suno.com; if you download on your phone you get MP3. The free plan has MP3 only.
I bought Pro but the app still shows FreeReported by users Users who subscribed through the store reported this in App Store reviews from Turkey. First make sure you signed in with the same account. Suno can only change subscriptions made through its own payment system; for a store subscription, contact Apple or Google first, then billing@suno.com.
The song wasn't generated: a "copyrighted phrase" or artist name warningRemove names of famous artists and people, copyrighted or trademarked phrases and excessive profanity. Describe the style instead of naming the artist; write the lyrics yourself.
My uploaded audio or lyrics were rejectedSuno scans uploads for unauthorized use. Upload only audio and lyrics you have the rights to.
I can't find the old modelAll older models have been removed. Your songs stay in your library; if you extend them or make a cover, the job runs on the new model and may sound different.
The Voices (my own voice) option doesn't appearYou must be 18 or older, and your plan and region must be eligible. Suno says it isn't available in some locations; it says nothing about Turkey.
I canceled my subscription but was charged againIf you bought through the store, you can cancel only in your Apple or Google subscription settings; deleting the app doesn't cancel. If you bought on the web, cancel on the suno.com/account page, and do it before the renewal date.
My account was closedThe Community Guidelines list the steps of warning, temporary suspension and permanent ban; if you think it was a mistake, you can appeal.

How do you cancel a Suno subscription, and are refunds available?

  1. Open the suno.com/account page.
  2. Click the "Cancel Subscription" button at the top of the page and confirm (you can also cancel through the payment provider via Update Payment). The Terms also accept cancellation by email.
  3. Cancel before the renewal date; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds

Suno's rule: payments are final and non-refundable; however, Suno may decide otherwise, and this doesn't limit statutory refund rights. The Help Center says requests are reviewed case by case. Examples where a refund may be given: buying a yearly plan by mistake, subscribing without ever making a song, a long outage. Examples where no refund is given: changing your mind, occasional use. If Suno shuts down the service, the remaining period is refunded pro rata. The official documentation says nothing specific about statutory rights in Turkey.

If you bought through a store (App Store, Google Play), Suno often can't intervene in that subscription; for refunds and cancellation, go to Apple or Google first, then billing@suno.com.

What happens when you cancel

Your library stays; you can listen and share on Suno. Your download allowance returns to the free tier's limit; commercial rights to songs you downloaded while subscribed continue.

Deleting your account

In the app: profile photo, Settings (gear icon), scroll to the bottom, "Delete account". Deletion is permanent; songs and personal data can't be recovered. Remember to cancel your subscription first.

How do you download Suno songs, and is there a download limit?

Choose Download from the song's three-dot menu in your Library. MP3 is on all plans; WAV only on Pro and Premier, on suno.com. Since September 3, 2026 there is a limit: Pro gets 20 downloads a month, Premier 60; the free plan gets at most 7 trial downloads for life. Listening and sharing are unlimited.

How much do Suno Pro and Premier cost?

On the web, Pro is $10 billed monthly or $8/month billed yearly; Premier is $30 and $24; tax is added at checkout.

Are Suno songs copyrighted, and can I use them on YouTube and Spotify?

You have commercial use rights for songs you made and downloaded while subscribed to Pro or Premier: you can upload them to Spotify and Apple Music through a distributor and use them in YouTube content. Free plan songs are for personal use only. Each platform's own rules apply, and there is no guarantee against Content ID or copyright claims. This is not legal advice.

What is Suno and what is it used for?

An AI music tool that generates songs, with or without vocals, from a sentence or your lyrics. Each attempt gives two songs; it can extend a song, change a section, add your own voice and split it into stems. The company is Suno, Inc. in the US.

Can Suno sing in Turkish? Is it available in Turkish?

The official sources neither confirm nor rule out Turkish lyrics; there is no list of supported languages. The website opens in Turkish at suno.com/tr, while the iPhone app has no Turkish interface. Users report that songs with Turkish lyrics can be made but the results aren't always good.

Is Suno free?

Yes, there is a free plan: 50 credits a day (about 10 songs), a free model, extend, cover and lyric writing. Songs made on the free plan are for personal use only; regular downloads, WAV, stem separation and commercial rights are on paid plans.

What's the difference between Suno v6, v6-wild and v6-mini?

All three are from the same v6 family and make songs up to 8 minutes in a single generation. v6 is the main model: balanced and precise. v6-wild is experimental and surprising. v6-mini is faster and lighter and is also on the free plan. v6 and v6-wild are on Pro and Premier. Older models have been removed.

How do you cancel a Suno subscription, and are refunds available?

If you bought on the web, use Cancel Subscription on the suno.com/account page; if you bought through a store, use your Apple or Google subscription settings. Under the Terms, payments aren't refunded, but Suno may give refunds case by case (e.g., a yearly plan bought by mistake); statutory rights are reserved. For store purchases, contact Apple or Google first.

What are Suno credits, how many songs a day, and when do they renew?

Each generation gives two songs and uses 10 credits. On the free plan you get 50 credits every day (about 5 generations, 10 songs); Pro gets 2,500 credits a month, Premier 10,000. Credits don't roll over; when they run out, you can buy extra credits.

Can I make songs in my own voice with Suno?

Yes, with the Voices feature: you record or upload your voice for 15 seconds to 4 minutes and verify it by reading the sentence on screen. You can use only your own voice and must be 18 or older. The pricing page says Pro and Premier; whether it's on the free plan is contradictory across pages.

Does Suno have a student discount?

Suno's pricing page and help pages don't mention a student discount or education plan. Yearly billing is 20 percent cheaper than the monthly plan.
