Lovable vs. a Web Agency: Do You Still Need One?
The honest answer: sometimes you really don't.
Short answer
AI site builders like Lovable are enough for an event page, an idea test, a one-page introduction or an internal team tool, and since May 2026 they render new projects on the server. The difference starts after launch: if you run ads, you still need to solve conversion tracking, content and structure for Google and ChatGPT, payment integration through iyzico or PayTR for payments in Turkey, and customer data security separately.

Where it's enough
If this is your situation, don't pay an agency:
- An event or campaign page
- A landing page to test your idea
- A one-page introduction
- A small tool for your team's internal use
What changed in 2026: Since May, new projects are rendered on the server; the sitemap and meta tags are generated automatically. Lovable Pro starts at $25/month, including a custom domain and code export.
Ads you can't measure are guesswork.
If you're paying for ads, you need to see which clicks turn into customers. Lovable's GA4 connection sends data, but only from the browser; you define what counts as a conversion.
If you see this: clicks in the ad dashboard, an empty conversions column. Cookie consent and the Meta side are separate jobs too.
Rendering is solved. Content isn't.
Which page answers which question, is the schema correct, is the content really yours? Lovable's own documentation also leaves content, links and strategy to the user.
If you're moving the site: ChatGPT's and Claude's crawlers don't run JavaScript. If you move the site off Lovable, rendering matters again.
Payments in Turkey don't come built in.
- 01The built-in options are Stripe and Paddle
- 02Stripe doesn't support businesses based in Turkey
- 03Paddle is only open to sellers of digital products
- 04iyzico or PayTR is set up and tested through their API
Security: In 2025, data was exposed in more than 170 Lovable apps because of a database setting (CVE-2025-48757). If you collect customer data, someone should review it.
Find your situation.
- One page, no ads, no payments → Lovable is enough; do it yourself.
- Ads running, conversions need tracking → Lovable can work; get help setting up tracking.
- You expect customers from Google → you need a content and structure plan more than a tool.
- Payments, bookings, customer data → integration and a security review are a must.

Frequently asked questions
Will a site built with Lovable show up on Google?
Since May 2026, new Lovable projects are rendered on the server; the sitemap and meta tags are generated automatically. But visibility is now more about content and structure than rendering: which page answers which question and whether the schema is correct aren't solved by the tool.
Can a Lovable site accept payments in Turkey?
The built-in options are Stripe and Paddle; Stripe doesn't support businesses based in Turkey, and Paddle is only open to sellers of digital products. Payments in Turkey require a separate setup and testing with the iyzico or PayTR API.
