What does Typebot do? Can I use it without code?
In Typebot you build a conversation flow with drag-and-drop blocks: questions, conditions, forms, email and payment steps. The result is embedded on your site or shared as a link. With the OpenAI block you can add AI replies to the flow, and on the Pro plan you can connect it to WhatsApp. You don't need to write code.
Who it's for: businesses that want to collect leads or set up booking or survey forms. Whether the OpenAI block is available on the Free plan is unclear; you need your own OpenAI key.
How do you self-host Typebot on your own server?

Prices are in US dollars and monthly only; the pricing page says there is no yearly plan because the subscription price depends on chat usage. Pro's tier pricing above 10,000 chats is not on the page. Turkish lira pricing, tax notes, a trial and a student discount are not listed.
!License: the documentation describes itself as “fair source” and states that Typebot is under the Functional Source License (FSL), converting to Apache 2.0 after two years. The AGPLv3 badge in the README is outdated; GitHub shows the license as “Other”. You can use it on your own server but not to build a competing product; if you run a commercial plan, read the license.
Security: GitHub lists many published security advisories (including ones dated August 21, September 26 and October 2, 2026; one is critical). The latest release is v3.19.0 (September 14, 2026). On your own server, run the latest version.
